Default Zoom in/out of image on full screen

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know how to zoom in and out of an image using any of the standard video editing software ? That is, instead of just showing an image for 3 seconds, it would be cool if the clip initially focuses on a person's face in the image and then zooms out to see the who picture. I've seen this done on TV (zoom in on an image and zoom out of an image)

Thanks - Cindy.

In pinnacle studio plus you can do that with the pan and zoom function. you just set a start and end point and the software does the zoom in/zoom out between the two.

Couldn’t be simpler. With Premiere, you simply set a keyframe marking the scale at over 100 percent. Move the scrubber a second or two on, set a scale keyframe for 100% - or whatever size you want. Over the time period, the size will change.

If you don’t want the zoom from the centre, keyframe the position parameters as well - it’s very easy. Play with it, you'll see how it works.
