Default split screen help!

I'm an art student who decided to experiment with video for one of my projects, and I decided to create a split screen, so that four video clips play simultaneously on the screen. I do not have any decent software - I have been using Windows Movie Maker, and did the split screen by importing the video into powerpoint... However, I would like to put this file onto video/dvd so that it can be shown on a tv screen. What software should I use to do this, bearing in mind that this is the ONLY thing I need the software to do, i.e create a split screen effect... thanks

Default thanks, but...

491 mb....? Any smaller programs I can download? As I am a poor South African, being able to download a file that large is a near impossibility! :( But if thats the only way - i'll ask around.
