Default Overlay picture in video (like newscast)

Hi all - novice user on Roxio Videowave which does not allow for overlaying of my own jpegs onto video clips like a news cast.

Does anyone have an affordable software recommendation that would do that? Thanks, Cindy.

That's funny. I had an older version of Videowave (4 I think) when it was still made by MGI and it did graphics overlay. Are you sure you read the program's help file thoroughly?

No I think she means like blending in the actual video.

Cindy, you could try downloading the trial version of Sony's Vegas Movie Studio + DVD Architect from here: http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/dow...p2.asp?did=613 , see if it suits your needs. If you decide to buy it, it costs $ 90.

This forum is so helpful. Thank you for all of your help !! I am just a new writer/artist but don't have much experience with computer stuff. I've seen my peers at trade shows with really amazing dvd presentations and I want to learn how to do some of that for my self. I just keep screwing up all night long (with simple tasks like inserting a picture in my profile)..... looks like it worked, but can't get my work title under the picture like "Monkey Business Manager" (that's funny)...

Thanks for the tip on Vegas, I'll check it out and play with it....

Well it looks like you did manage to insert an avatar picture after all. And it looks damn good, if I may say so

Let us know what you think of Vegas after you try it out.
