I cant get my sony digital hi 8 camera to work on my comp. pinacle studio and windows movie maker wont recognise it. it worked fine at school on the mac please help me i tryed geting a fire wire and the usb it came with

burn the usb cable.

then make sure your 1394 socket(s) work by trying something else in them, enabling them in the bios, installing the drivers, connecting the cables from the backplates to your mobo, searching the forum for a problem that's been answered a bajillion times before...
