Default Software to capture what is on your screen?

Is there any out there that will capture whatever is on your screen? Like if I play a game on my PC, can I capture all the action that is on my screen, or if I want to make a walkthru for a program to do a certain thing, stuff like that.

It'd be a plus, but if it showed the mouse arrow moving too..

Yes. Off the top of my head there's:

1) Hypercam - http://www.hyperionics.com/
2) Camtasia Studio - http://www.techsmith.com

Default screenflash

To be honest,as freeware, Camtasia Studio is Ok, it really record all the action of the whole screen, but not a single window.
I'm now using ScreenFlash, much better than Cam I think, there is a special offer at

Default would they work while quake1 runs in full screen mode

Marc

just read this post, and as i was requesting in my own thread, i just wanted to know if any of these software packages could record while Quake1 were running in full screen mode ???

I get the impression from their sites, they are really only for presentation purposes. (limmited movements on desktop)
