Default Blind Date type effect.

I wasnt sure what to search for so sorry if its been posted.

I was wondering how to do simple effects like they do on the tv show blind date where they have a small cartoon type picture over layed on video where it can smoothly move about the screen. I have tried this before but ended up hand moving the image frame by frame which causes it to be very jerky. If anyone could help i would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply

I probably did it the hardest way possible before, i first converted the videos to gif, then edited each frame in adobe imageready. then converted all the gifs back to avi, then stictched them together in i think windows movie maker. i can use whateer program is easiest though, my company is willing to pay for quality.

Stez

You're right, thats the hard way!

You need a Non Linear Editing (NLE) package that supports multiple video layers. If your company is paying then go with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Good Luck
