Default PowerDirector will only capture flicker/snow

Hi
I recently purchased PowerDirector 4. I've got a Phillips Cap7134. When I go to the capturescreen my tv-card is detected by the program. Then I choose the antenna as my receiver and flip to the channel I want to capture from. No problems so far, the picture and sound seems perfect. Now I'm ready to record. I press the record button and then it happens. The screen turns black for a short while and then turns in to flicker/snow and noise - and starts recording.
Any ideas? This happens no matter which format I try to record in.
