I just got the TRV 38 few days ago. All went nice till I start transferring video from it to my computer. I do use fire wire. The Windows and the Ulead video 7 software recognize the camera but the video that’s transferring is choppy. It’s like stop and go.Frame drop I guess. It’s not smooth running transfer. It seems to me that I have to set something in the software but so far I’ve been unsuccessful to do it. Does anyone have this problem and know how to fix it? I would greatly appreciate.

Sorry i forgot to tell you about my comp.sys.

Here is my box: Win XP home,PIII 1000Mh,memory 512mb,HD1 15Gb/7200rpm,HD2 80Gb/7200 rpm(on which i do the editing and is there nothing on it)
Video card ATI 9000 pro

Be worth defragging the system drive, if that is where you have your working space. Thereafter set all temp working directories to your dedicated video drive.
