VCD to M=Peg2

Hey, it's me again. I'm making a DVD of my Holiday last year and i am on the final straight although theres just one problem.
I need to edit footage off a VCD and although after encoding it's fine, theres no audio.
I'm using Xilisoft Video Convertor and i've already encoding one VCD sucsessfully although i'm having particular trouble with one.
Any Ideas???
