Hey all I really need some help.

I'm usning a JVC GR-D31EK camera and have a load of footage which I need to edit. However, I no longer have the Driver/software CD that came with the camera so I can't install the camera on the computer.

I've E-maild JVC numerous tiems but had no reply and I can't find the drivers online at all.

Can anyone help?

I am using the USB DV cable and Windows XP.

Are you sure this is right? I thought you could only use firewire for DV. I have a JVC camera and the USB cable which it came with is only for accessing the pictures on the memory card in the camera. If you have a firewire cable, try connecting the camcorder to the PC with it and it should work straight off without any drivers (my camcorder didn't come with any, but Windows XP has them built in).
