i used the video editing programme virtual dub to be able to put video's onto my iriver. i followed all the instructions but it wouldnt save as an .AVI file. a warning message comes upand says it cant save due to the audio compression. just wondering if anybody could help.

I think with Virtual Dub you have to download a seperate audio codec. You can find the radium MP3 codec on this page: http://www.videoforums.co.uk/downloads.php

please don't download the radium codec.

It's a hacked version of the old fraunhofer codec, and as such is illegal. Don't get me wrong, i ain't got a problem with illegal stuff, but when you consider that the lame codec's free, and better...
