Hi, i have 2 video clips, both of the same game match, but from different views. What i want to do is double the width of the video and put the other clip to the right of it and sync the frames so i can encode it into a single video file.

Is this possible? I have Pinnacle Studio 9 and of course Windows movie maker (like that helps )

This is commonly known as Picture-in-Picture (PIP), and I know it can be done in the likes of Adobe Premiere and Vegas Video.

TY very much.... though luckily i have neither of those :(. Though i am sure i can find some software that does it, i did not know wether or not it was a common feature for software to have, or what name it went by.

Just reviewing Pure Motion Edit Studio 4 (what a mouthful) and the blurb suggests it can do Picture-in-Picture - which is quite a surprise given the low price tag! I'll let you know how it performs

update: I just found a 30 day trial of Vegas Video and love it. It's actuall video editing software not overly newbie friendly string-together-video-clips-with-kool-FX-for-family-fun-and-the-computer-won't-hurt-you based that most applications are.

Let me know how Pure Motion Edit Studio 4 (as opposed to the lesser known impure motion edit studio 4) works out because it is a great deal cheaper, and in 30 days i'm either going to have to pay alot of money... or be quite unethical with the "30 day trial"
