Default Computer not recognising my camera.

Can anyone help me? I have a Panasonic NV-GS11 and it will not show up as connected on my computer either with firewall or USB connection. I've checked the Firewall/USB connection and they're fine.

fireWIRE. A firewall is something that increases pc security.

do other firewire things work? you've connected it and set it up as per the instructions, yes?

the drivers are installed, etc?

sorry, yeah firewire! How dumb am I? I've done everything possible. Reading other forums it may have something to do with SP2. But it all gets really complicated after that!

you could be right, SP2 is evil, imo. It works for loads of people, mind you,

Have you tried setting up the camera on someone else's computer?
