Hi, yea um. In Theatre Arts II next year I'll have to make a music video and I was wondering is there any software I could use to edit the music video frame by frame so I can add specific effects. I've tried Animation Shop 3.0 but it says some error when I try to open files made by the video camera (It's a brand new Digital Video Recorder) Any help? Because I'd like to do some what of a Sin City effect and other effects. (I Know it's alot of frame by frame editting but I've got time and I'm doing a short song). Thanks for your help.

I'd rather not spend money, so if there is like a shareware version, or just plain free that would be nice.

Well, the best tool will depend almost entirely on what effect(s) you actually want to add.

From the stills I've seen Sin City was all done on a green screen and then colourised. is this what you want to do?

And again it might depend on you NLE of choice also. For example if you edit in Premiere then export as a flm file and import that into a photo editing package like Photoshop and.or PSP.
