adding a cg car into some video footage??

Hi I was watching the making of bad boys 2 yesterday and saw how they add the cg car into the scene. ive made lots of cool cars (in cinema 4d.) now i wanna have a go at adding them into some footage ive shot?? any help i would be very gr8full. thankx.
