I searched (the first page of threads) and didn't find the answer. Sorry if this has been posted already.

I have the video, and two PSD (or jpg) images I want to overlay at the begining of the video. When I import the images they are automatically stretched to full screen. Does anyone know how I can keep the image size as it is as well as position them uncentered?

Also, can i preserve transperency, or am i stuck with a white background?

I'm new to Premiere also, but as for the transparency thing, I think that you can select a color to be transparent (it's in the video effects), so just make a color that's not anywhere in your image and use that as the transparent color.

The center and non-stretch idea is a bit tougher... I don't know, but maybe you could resize the image in photoshop and import it so it already fits to the frame. That aside, it's a great question cuz I'll be coming across the same problem eventually no doubt.
