Default Photoshop File Import to Premiere Troubles

When I create a design in photoshop and save it as a psd file, it looks a little sketchy in Premiere when I import it. The lines are not as crisp as they are in photoshop and it still looks like this even once it is on DV and played on the TV. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks, Steven Bogda

I've not had any troubles doing this at all. Have you ensured that your image dimanesions are the same as your Premiere project and the dpi is 72. And that your pixel aspect ratio is the same as your Premiere Project.
<this last might not mean anything unless you are making a 16:9 project in premiere and using Photoshop CS>

Default Thanks

It is the same size as the video but photoshop was set on 300 dpi. could that have been the problem?

I can't imagine it would make enough difference to really matter. Just better to compare apples with apples is all I'm thinking. Try changing it though. So you have 720x576 @72dpi (or whatever). Maybe there is some implicit scaling going on.
