Thread: sony vegas platinum 9.0 won't open from taskbar

I have a new dell computer running win7 with an intel processor i5, and I notice that sony vegas has lots of problems re-opening when minimized. Does anyone else have a problem like this, or know how it can be resolved? Thanks!

Is it that your media goes off line when Vegas is minimised to the task bar. You can change this setting by going to the program Preferences on the general tab and un-ticking the box "close media files when not the active application".

If this isn't what's wrong can yo explain what you mean by "problems re-opening".

Yes, when I'm working with the vegas program, and I often minimize the window to work in another program, ie photoshop. When I try to enlarge the window-re-open it, I get a warning bleep and the window won't re-open.
