Default Video editing problems! Please help

Hey everyone.

I have a Hercules Smart TV USB2 external tv tuner and it works fine. After i record something i play it back and all is good but the problem lies when burning to a dvd.

I use Ulead DVD Moviefactory to author and burn the videos while creating a menu and everything and i noticed that the audio is a few seconds behind the video and as the DVD goes on the gap between the two increases.

Has anyone else had this problem or know what might be wrong?

Ive wasted like 7 DVD's so far and tried different software but it doesnt make sense as it works fine when being played on my pc is just after i burn it.

Thankyou very much

what are your capture settings, and your dvd authoring settings?

Is it playing badly on a standalone or your pc?

your using software that encodes the video to mpeg 2, as well as authoring, this is never the best way to go.

If you capture to mpeg2 then say use dvd lab pro, you may have better results.

In dvd lab pro you demux the files, into a video and sound file, then let dvd lab author the dvd. This is what I did in the early days when having that problem.
