hey all, i'm new to the forum and site. Looks pretty good btw

Here it is. recently bought a Sony HANDYCAM camcorder model number DCR-DVD91E. It records onto 80mm DVD-R's and DVD-RW's. At the moment i'm getting the data off the camera by taking the dvd out and putting it into the drive on my computer an dropping it onto the hard disk. I dont think any firewire or USB cables came with it.

Iv also found Adobe premier version 6.5 and want to have a go at editing some of my footage. Can i drop clips from my harddisk into the premier software? It seems i can only record on adobe from the camera direct with a cable.
If this is not possible is there other software i can get?

Any help would be much appreciated.

ok thanx for that, looks like i might be on to a winner apart from the panasonic codec link.

When i extract it the includec.INF file is not htere and i only have 3 files

free codecs.txt
PANADV
pdvcodec.dll how do i run this file if its .dll???
