for more info, you can go to start/run and type dxdiag

or

go here: http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php and download the CPU-Z program, which will give you loads of info about your processor, motherboard and RAM.

Yeah, I think I remember that Windows.....yes! I am almost
positive that Windows was re-installed after the new Motherboard was
installed. I take it that this could be an issue otherwise.

yes, but you'll still need to install the proper drivers. The ones that come with windows are crap.
