Hello

I have a good quality movie on a DVD (*.vob format)
In order to edit it in premiere, I have to convert it to AVI
I tried to convert it using several codecs but the resulted quality was much poorer than the *.vob files.
I would like to know if it's possible to convert vob to avi in a looseless quality way.
If it's possible, which software should I use, and with which codec and settings.

For lossless you could use the huffuv codec. IMO this is overkill, but others would disagree. I nice compromise would be DV AVI and it just so happens to be covered in the:
