hi this topic may be very very silly and plz delete this topic if necessary.

i am very new to video editing. My question is how is the software
"Power Director 4" from cyberlink. i konw there r many other softwares available but i saw a lot of good reviews about this software.. Anybody here have any notions....

i have a copy that came with my graphics card, but the disc doesn't work so sorry dude.

The MPEG encoder is awful. Recommend against buying this product.

i used PD3 for ages, very simple, effective, good all round.
yes encoder leave quality poor compared to other software like prem pro,

but depending on what you do, its most likly easily good enough

Pure Motion Edit Studio, Ulead Video Studio or Adobe Premiere Pro.
