Im looking for software that can edit avi and mpeg movie's audio. I have a movie and the sound is off from the video and want to fix it. What would be the best video editing software to fix this problem?

When you say "off", do you mean it's out of sync with the video?

virtualdub can change the audio's offset, but really we need more info before we can tell you more.

is the audio out of sync? Is it out of sync by the same amount the whole way through the video?

Yeah, the whole movie is off by a second or two. You can hear someone talk before their mouth moves and this is throughout the movie. I can open two players-one for sound and the other for video and delay it but that is a lot of work and I just want to fix it.
