I truly hope there is an expert on this board with windows media encoder. Here is the situation. I capture with a dazzle capture device and capture at a variable bitrate of 8000K, I then would pull into encoder 7.1 and covert to a .wmv file. That has worked a thousand times.

But I upgraded to encoder verison 9, and now all of a sudden I can't get it to work. no matter what setting I choose (version 9 has a lot fewer setting options than version 9), the audio is garbled.

Any help would be great or if you can point me to a place that can answer my question I would appreciate it.
