Can anyone recommend some decent (and cheap) software that I can use to design dvd covers etc.

Thank you.

What DVD burning software have you got, because even the cheap version of nero (and as far as i know, roxio) comes with cover designer software.

Well, what graphics propgrams do you have. For a DVD wrpa, just measure an existing one you alreadyhave. Draw a box that size on one layer and then draw your artwork on other layers. Finally drop the orioginal layer and you have artwork the correct size already for printing.

Easy peasey cheesey.

I made a template in PowerPoint - it's nice and flexible for placing graphics. Then I just cut it out and wang it in behind the transparent cover. Easier cheesier peasier...
