i have used sw to convert rmvb to avi xilli soft format factory 4hdvideoconverter total video converter but they all fail to convert properly (Audio delay -3sec)

Which is Best sw for Vob to avi or mp4 or mkv (DVD5 (4.7 GIG to 700 MB-1.5 GIG Avi) The video Quality Should be Clear !!

Matroska's not a format we mention very much on here as it's just a crafty wrapper and we're fairly happy with avi.

You don't give an idea of budget but if you let us know how much you're prepared to pay and maybe if you have a specific reason for the file size limits we can suggest something that may be transparent-ish. The real problem is that it's always a case of how much quality are you prepared to lose?

I find AVS Video Converter 7 really good. From my experience it can convert any format to any format, with the option of using presets or advance settings to get your desired quality output. Supports multi-core processors as well.
