Default Video editing

My operating system is Windows XP Pro. It occasionally happens that I shoot a video where too much of a background is showing. Is it possible to crop the frame and get rid of the unwanted extra background? If so what software is available to accomplish this?

Most video editing software is able to do that, personally I recommend Adobe Premiere Elements.

No problem, everyone has to start somewhere. If you get hold of Premiere Elements (or whatever program you choose), I'm pretty sure there will be a tutorial to do it. What you'd probably have to end up doing is using the zoom feature to, erm, zoom into the image until the black border disappears.

Oh, and "TXT SPK" means Text Message Speak, as in someone writing

"IM TRYIN 2 DO SUM VID EDITIN N I WUZ WUNDRIN IF U CUD HELP ME BCOZ I DONT NO MUCH LOL!!!!!"

instead of

"I'm trying to do some video editing, and I was wondering if you could help me because I don't know much!"

If someone can't be bothered to spend an extra few seconds to type something coherent, and types like a monkey in front of a typewriter, then I can't be bothered to spend any time helping them out.

You however, were nice about it
