Guys: indulge me - I'm sure this has been covered elsewhere but I'm damned if I can find it. My daughter rendered her basketball movie last night. There's lots of fast pans in it and, in the rendered version, she now has very pronounced horizontal lines on the edges of moving objects. What causes this - and how can we/she fix it?

Mike: could that be it? EXTREME jagginess in the form of horizontal distortion of the edges of moving objects. And if that's it - now what do we do?

Of course, using 'search' is more effective when you get the right search term. 'Pan' got me ~30, 'horizontal line' got me ~230, and 'jaggy' got me 0, which kinda surprised me. I've learned that fast panning - especially left - is allegedly to be avoided (and the panning in question was left) but not much else as yet. Go on, someone, make an old man very happy - and help him make his daughter happy too.
