Thread: How to Loop DVD Video?

Hello,
This may be obvious to everyone but me. I need to loop scenes on DVD from time to time for the purpose if writing music to a scene. I need to be able to set a loop point and have the DVD play that loop endlessly. What is the best way to get that done? Is there a DVD player that I can do that with? Some Mac or PC software that will make the job easy? I need some guidance from those in the know.

I take it that you have a DVD which has already been produced, and you want to loop a section of video on a DVD player or PC? You can do this in VLC media player. VideoLAN, Free streaming and multimedia solutions for all OS!.

1. Download and install videolan
2. Open up your disc and go to the start of the video you want to loop.
3. Select Tools > Bookmarks and
4. Click create.
5. Go to the end of the video you want to loop and click create a second time.
6. Now click view > advanced tools, and then click the third icon from the left to loop the video.

Most DVD players will also let you set an in an output to loop.
