Hi,
i am new to video editing. I am having 1200 feet of super 8 movies converted to DVD. I need to edit these 3 reels of 400 feet each with a video editor. Which is the recommended format to do this in order to use typical video editing tools. What is reasonable editor, i have Showbiz2 and some others, never used yet.

I tried to copy one of movie DVD's, VOB format . No luck

what do you advise,
thanks in advance
peterdt

edit: moved to general problems - user videos are for showcasing your work

A typical software editing solution is designed for use with DV AVI. I would therefore suggest you get the footage transferred to DV AVI.
