hi im giong to buy a old early 90's sears camcorder on ebay. i had a video produciton class in highschool and i remember my teacher letting us use old vhs camcorders like this and then running it though something and we could edit the film on apple i movie. what do i need to do to get my vhs tape converted onto my computer so i can edit it? and also what program woudl work with that?

thanks in advance for any help im very new to this area and i cant wait ive always wanted a video camera.
