Default Ulead Media Studio 6.5 Directors cut Auto scene detection

Can anyone tell me if there is a method of for automatic scene detection without having to go into the batch capture mode. I find that this method tends to take a long time and also uses the camera more than I would like. I also Have Pinnacle studio which allows me to tick a box. As soon as I start capture it goes on its merry way without the camcorder doing any extra work.
I keep wondering if I have missed something.

Many Thanks

Reg G

No you haven't missed anything. Version 6.5 does not support automatic scene detection. Thankfully version 7 does though.
