Thread: How to blur the channel name in the video I have? please help me

Hi guys Im Sujan from India, new to this concept Video editing.
Using my TV tuner card I've recorded a lot of videos in my PC.


I would love to add it into youtube, but I've the problems in editing.

There are 2 things i need help from:

1) How to blur the Channel name (icon,logo) in the video.

2) If not blur, how can replace the channel name (log0,icon) with the same kind of logo which I've created.

I've tried using Adobe pro, but as I dont know much about this, I couldnt blur just the little part of the video, instead whole vid got blurred...

I need to blur the part (channel logo) in the frame of the entire video

Im sure atleast one of you can help me regarding this in detail

The circled area is the place which i want to blur / replace it with another logo of mine. Help me

I can't say I'm in favour of nicking footage like this - but one solution would be to simply place your own graphic over the top of the existing one? Just import a .png image and place it over the top, render out, job done.

But using which software?

And is there no option to blur the circled area???

using premier pro do as Andy said or you can put the video onto 2 video tracks and then on the top track use the crop effect to just get the logo and then blur that.

And you wonder why videos aren't available any longer in certain countries.
