Default DV Cam as DAT Drive?

Just a thought, but the recent loss of my video drive has made me take stock of my (inadequate) backup routines.

Has any one ever used a DV Cam as a dat drive? If so how did you do it?

Thanks in advance.

Not heard of software that can do that - but I would recommend seom kind of external storage. Perhaps something like these: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...rd_Drives.html

Default hmm

I remember seeing something about using a DV or D8 cam as a tape drive for storing data in an issue of Videomaker magazine. I'll see if I can find it.
