Roxio Videowave 7 question

I have Roxio Videowave 7 (part of roxio easy media creator 7). I shot my video in the 16:9 widescreen mode, but when I imput it into videowave, in which the preview screen is in 4:3, the picture is squashed into it. How do I change the preview mode to 16:9?
