Default Rendering with Sony Vegas pro 8

Hi

I am making a movie with sony vegas pro 8 for the first time, and do not know much about what settings I should use to render it. When I click on properties for the files it says that the format is DV and Attributes are 720x576x24. So far I have tried .avi with Pal Dv Widescreen, NTSC Dv widescreen 24p (2-3 pulldown) and Ntsc dv 24p inserting (2-3 pull down). But none give the right picture width.

Hope someone can help me

Pal dv in - pal dv out.

Set the out put as .avi - PAL DV. SOme things in video really can be that straightforward.

I have now rendered a part of my project, but some of the film clips flicker a bit when i play them. Has that got to do with how i rendered it?
