I have an avi file which I've been trying to edit using Adobe Premiere Pro Cs3. The problem is that when I import this file, the sound is missing and only the clip is imported. Then, when the clip is viewed it is extremely choppy, less than a frame per second. When I look up the properties of the clip, it reports:

I tried importing it into windows media player, just to compare results, and got a similar problem, only with the inclusion of the audio file this time.
I've played the file in VLC and various other media playing devices and had no troubles what so ever viewing it.
If anyone knows what I can do to fix this problem, I'd greatly appreciate the input.
