Default Analogue to Digital

The last time I tried video editing was in 1991 with an edit baby and video 8! Having just bought Pinnacle Studio 9 to edit my digital tapes I have seen how things have progressed!

Of course I now want to transfer my analogue 'master' tapes onto Studio 9 to make DVD's etc. DirectShow compatability seems to be the requirement. But I haven't a clue what I need in terms of software and leads.

I have WindowsXP Pro, 160 gigs!

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi nick and welcome to the forums.

Do a quick search in the forums as this has been discussed a couple of times recently.

Enjoy your stay.
