Default Tinny Sound

Hi, I've only just started this video editing thing so please excuse my ignorance. When I play back my footage through the TV direct from the camcorder the sound quality is great, but when I capture it on my PC and listen to it the sound has a tinnyness to it. The effect is still there when I burn the footage from the PC to DVD. Any suggestions on what may be wrong or what I can do to improve things? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the capture program is set to record sound at a low bitrate?

Though, like Marc said, how you doing it?

Hi Guys,
I've tried capture using software called Showbiz. I was hoping that it might be down to some of the settings but I was't sure.
Cheers
