hi! everybody.
i just recently started adventuring into video editing and i think i need plenty of help.

my (first) question is: is there a video editing software out there which will operate like macromedia flash (i.e. layers for video, sound and titles) with better exporting capabilities?

i tried using Flash to work on some video editing but i think the quality of AVI exports i got is not good (i.e. the fonts appear like they melted). the quality, i observe, further diminishes when the AVI is written to VCD.

Adobe Premeire, Ulead Media Studio, Pure Motion Edit Studio, Adobe Premiere Elements... to name but a few.
