Default is there software to emulate dif cameras ?

hello. i want to know if there is software that lets you take a piece of video and emulate different cameras , like say , take a vid of you in your room, and make it look like it was recorded with a camera from the 50's, i dont simply mean , make it grainy and black and white, i mean authentically . i know that this should be possible as long as you are downgrading , so it should be passoble to take a clip and make it look like it was recorded with a webcam, or a VHS camcorder from teh late 80's . i want to know how to do this because i want to make skits and i need to make sure that my look mathches teh footage i will use so it looks real . someone should make a software or addon that comes with like 200 different camera emulators/filters . i have a mac and imovie HD, so what do i need to download ?

Barring that, you could attempt to recreate the look of old cameras by:

- making shaky video (no optical stabilization!)
- filtering the audio (bad mics!)
- filtering the video (specifically, I'm thinking desaturation might give a "late 80s" kind of look)
- using poor lighting (older cameras were poor in low light)
- downgrading the resolution in your editor, giving more of a grainy look, etc.

Just a few thoughts! Good luck!
