Default Video Cleanup Question

I have a video that I shot with a digital camera, and when I view it using the default viewer, QuickTime, it comes out very pixelated. What would I have to do to the video to clean it up and reduce the amount of pixelation in the video? I have Sony Vegas, Adobe Premier, and Adobe After Effects, what would I have to do to clean up my video?

What kind of digital camera have you used? typically pixelated video is a symptom of encoding at low bitrates with a low resolution. To put that in english, it's normally poor quality from a video.

As the default view is quicktime, I am assuming that these have come from either a cell phone or small digital video device such as a Mustek DV. If this is the case, the possibly the easiest and quickest way to tidy this up is buy addiing a blur filter to the video. If you combine this with duplicating the layer and setting the opacity to about 50% for that layer in Premiere or Vegasm then you will get a soft focus type effect.

If the video is actually from another source, then post back and tell us which as it may be a problem with exporting from the camera.

Then it is unsuprising that the quality is poor and I recommend that you try the steps I posted above.
