Ulead Videostudio 11 Overlay problem

I want to add more than one overlay to a video, and so i looked how to do it in the manual i have , it says i need to click on teh OVERLAY MANAGER but its not there , i looked where it should be ( on the tool bar ) and its not in any menu either

does anyone know why the book tells me one thing and the programe isnt showing it ?

I'm guessing you're not looking on the right toolbar. It's on the toolbar just above the timeline. Last but one icon on the right. You will need to be in Timeline View rather than Storyboard View for it to be enabled.

Found out the problem after an hour long search of the ulead site !

I have the videostudio 11 , and you need the videostudio 11 plus to use that feature.

seems strange that all the instructions for that feature were put in the instructions for the normal verson, i looked when i was in the shop and the instrction books were different, must be something they decided to leave out last minute.

will sort out an upgrade now
