Wink I need advice on a suitable program for my plasma's in my club ?

Hi everyone,

I own a nightclub and i need a basic program that i can use to advertise my products and events on my plasma screens within my club.

I normally pay for this and it costs me a small fortune every month !
and 9 times out of ten , it's not 100% correct, so I thought i'd have a go at it myself.

I'm have about average experience on a pc, so i would require something that is basic, i'e , even just a backgorund with the clubs logo on where i can import some jpegs that move around the screen and change size etc and maybe some video clips.

I will then want to burn this on to a dvd so it will play on repeat.

Any suggestions on software that i could purchase would be much appreciated !

many thanks

Dave

I was going to suggest Powerpoint, but you want to burn it onto DVD so instead download a 30 day trial of Adobe Premiere Elements 3 or 4 (although there were reports on the forum recently of version 4 being problematic) and it will do everything you want. I don't know if you own a camcorder or if you could borrow one and maybe record some events in your nightclub to promote it. These could then be captured from the camcorder onto the computer hard disk, edited in Adobe Premiere Elements and burned onto a DVD with titles, transitions and music (copyright free of course).
