Cool Ulead Video Studio 7.0 can't save!!!

I just began trying to use the Ulead Video Studio 7.0 and after tweaking a video, I discovered it wouldn't allow me to save it. I'm using a pretty new Nikon camera.

Any ideas?

Dave

I've used VS versions 6, 9 and 10Plus but not 7.

With version 6 there is a small icon lower right under the workspace timeline that looks like a little floppy disc. First time clicking on that allows you to save and name the project. After that clicking on it again to save an update just auto saves to same named file. There is no "save as" option to save same project a second time with a new name.

Please describe a bit more detail of what steps you are taking and I may be able to help.

Hi
Remember I am not the sharp tool in this shed.

Assume you have your Project saved/named (click on file, save as or save).

Okay
You have your project opened and you are ready to render your project with all of your editing commands to create a completed edited video file.

What are you going to do with the file? Create a standard definition DVD?

If so, then click on "share" and within the drop down menu box click on MPEG2 720X480 NOT save at project settings.

This should cause your edit commands to be rendered and depending on your project size and computer chip power this can take some time.

Once you have it rendered as mpeg2 you can open it in your dvd authoring program to create Chapter Menu and process out and burn as a dvd.

OR

click on create disc and follow the prompts to cause a disc to be "burned".

Hope this helps!
