Default Video changed after shrink?

Hello all, quick question. I recently rendered a movie with adobe premiere cs3 to .avi and it is about 500 mb. I used Ashampoo Shrink and Burn3 to shrink to the movie to 100mb, something i've done many times before. This time, however, it somehow edited the movie. It changed my opening title screens by adding transitions and instead of the titles seamlessly going to my raw video, it shows a paused video for a few seconds and then starts playing. Everything else seems fine so I don't understand what happened. I've tried re-rendering the movie several times and also making small changes to the intro and then rendering, all render fine from premiere but after shrinking the same changes happen again. Any suggestions?
