Alright so I have a laptop with Windows Vista and it came with Windows Movie Maker.

It's not working though; when I try to import the raw avi files that i got on my computer from my camera, it loads the video then says "Windows Movie Maker has encountered a problem and has to close."

What gives??? any fixes?? This didn't happen when I used the same video files on Windows Movie Maker with my old computer and Windows XP.

This is not going to be tolerated, so please help me find a solution.
