Default Zip Files

I have quite a lot of video footage on my computer that I don't plan to use for a while. I plan to place it in a Zip folder, and my question is, will the video files that I 'zip' lose any quality or be alterered in any way because I compressed them in the Zip folder?
Cheers
Chris

Winzip will return you files to their exact same sefl when you unzip so you are OK to do this.

However, you'll probably find that zipping the files won't save much space.
