Default what kind of mircophone?

i just brought the panasonic gs230. it has an external mic. i just wondering what mircophone would you recommend. here is a list i got from ebay

MICROPHONE, Lead, Camcorder, XLR items at low prices - eBay.co.uk

if theres one your using now and you think it is good i would like to hear about it.

It really depends on what you want to record, you could end up with having a mic for every recording job you go to. Mics all have different characteristics, some pick up sound from all around while others pick up sound only from the direction they are pointed in. You have handheld mics, lapel mics, radio mics, boom mics, condensors, electret condensors etc.

thank you

the main purpose is really to put on my website. its really for my internet marketing project. if i want to make money then i have to make sure it doesnt sound cheap.

i just want to make sure what ever i put on my website it sound good and wont have the fussy noise that most camcorders have.

If the files are for the internet, then the next thing you have to find out is how big your files can be. This will be advertised (hopefully) on your ISP's website and will dictate the quality of both the video and audio.
